The MEGASYS Technician core activities:

• Work on shift with a team
• Develop a functional proficiency for site equipment, which includes chemical, slurry, and gas delivery systems

* Inventory control - offloading trucks and receiving in product
* Operate forklifts / pallet jacks
* Delivery of product to the customer

• Perform container changes (bottles, drums, totes)
• Perform alarm response for delivery equipment
• Perform noninvasive preventative maintenance using documented procedures
• Update electronic equipment logs

On the job training will allow the technician to develop fundamental knowledge to assist with technical support, which includes equipment troubleshooting and system adjustments.
Such troubleshooting/adjustments include:
• Regulator adjustments
• Concentration/Conductivity/Particle excursion response
• Transducer adjustments

Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and hands-on technical and/or electronics experience preferred.
Must be a strong team player and willing to work rotating shifts, on-call schedule, holidays, weekends or off shifts.

Willing to perform physical labor which is generally associated with cylinder and drum movements. Cylinders/drums movement will be done with carts, but the drums/cylinders can weigh anywhere from 150lbs to 700lbs. Frequency of movement can be high depending on what shift you are on.

A Fit for Duty Evaluation will be required: occasional lifting and carrying 25-50 lbs, frequent movements like bending, stooping, squatting, reaching above shoulders, pushing & pulling, exposure to changes in temperature/humidity and wearing protective equipment like respirator & ear plugs. During some tasks, technician will be required to climb ladders, wear fall protection and work from an elevated platform. Respirator information: Scott Safety AV3000 (S, M, L)/ AV2000 (S, M, L, XL). Contractors require the clearance to wear a respirator, a Scott full face respirator. It is a supplied air respirator and not just a breathing mask. The results from the physical are the determining factor and/or possibly a pulmonary function test if there is any doubt on the medical practitioners part during the Fit for Duty Evaluation.
They will be fit tested and trained on site with the model that fits them.
